Yes. There are some problems with the Spotify app. So why not give up the app and download Spotify songs to MP3 to listen to them forever. I use a Spotify music converter mac to convert songs I like.
Maybe someone could help me to answer this question: Is it possible to convert a Spotify Playlist, for saving songs on a CD? If someone already had experience with any programms, I would be greatful to hear about. But please, just legal ones! Thanks for your advice!

Hi Mrllama, Yes,you can burn a CD from Spotify !All music from Spotify is streaming content which is only available within Spotify itself. Even though you download Spotify music with a Premium account, all Spotify songs are saved as cache files for listening on Spotify in the offline mode only. For getting music from Spotify, you may need the help of a third-party tool like Tunelf Spotify Music Converter. Then download Music from Spotify to MP3,using iTunes or VLC to burn a CD.
I really want to capture some of my Spotify playlists and convert them to MP3 format so I can listen to them on my old MP3 player. I've already tried some freeware but the result was so bad, it didn't work properly. Does someone have a better and legal alternative I could try? Thank you!

There is no legal way to obtain the MP3s from Spotify since the protocols are encrypted. There were a few attempts and there is a script that works, but you need Linux and a lot of knowledge to make it work. The best way is to use the track's name and then YouTube with a video downloader.
Is there a way to add a sleep timer for desktop Spotify app? I know about the trick with iPhone, but I need it for Windows.

No, the trick works only with the version on iPhone. There is no way to add a timer for the Windows version of iPhone. I have checked all the known websites and available lists and no information was provided. You can recommend the developers to implement this function on the desktop version of Spotify.
To disable the WebHelper application, go to Start > Run > msconfig. Switch to the Startup tab and locate Spotify in the list. Uncheck it and apply the changes or start Spotify then go to Preferences and use the image below to disable it. Uncheck Allow Spotify to be started from the Web.
When I search a title on Spotify, a message says: "Application is not installed". Why? What should I install? Before it worked very well.

When you encounter this message, it means that although the application is actually installed, the registry entries are corrupted and because of that Windows reports it as being uninstalled. I recommend you to download a new copy of the software and install it. If you prefer to use online instructions, visit the Spotify Support page. The instructions are presented for various operating systems.
It says network operation timed out every time I try to download from Spotify. I don't know what to do to fix it.

As far as I know, Spotify doesn't allow you to download songs or if it does, the files are automatically stored in certain folders and have their name changed. If you use an application that was developed to do such thing, then you will have to contact the developer of that application and report the bugs. It's also possible that the program you use to download the songs has been banned or blocked by Spotify developers.

For starters, you can use the following service: http://www.youtube-mp3.org/
All I can say is that I use it on several computers and I haven't noticed anything so far.

Can you be more specific? Does it show any error?
Are there premium Spotify accounts? Maybe bonus accounts? Any advanced users?
Yes, there is Premium feature available for Spotify. This involves monthly payment and offers continous playback, no ads and higher quality.
There are two ways to acquire premium:
